Visiting Howard University provides students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Howard Experience and to interact with our students, faculty and staff. Our campus visit program is designed to provide our guests with information about our wide range of academic programs, the admission process, financial aid, and student life on campus. Our information sessions and campus tours last approximately two hours.
Information Session & Campus Tour for Families/Individuals
Guided campus tours are available Monday through Friday at select times throughout the day. Guests must register for a guided campus tour, as capacity is limited. Click the registration button below to sign up.
NOTE: You may also explore our campus on your own with our Self-Guided Tour Brochure. Howard University is an open campus, so please feel free to access our self-guided resources if a tour date is not available.
For groups of 10 or more individuals, please see our Group Visit page for more detailed information (including appointment scheduling). Summer group tours are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11AM and 1PM.
Campus tours and information sessions are suspended on the weekends, federal holidays, and for university closings. In addition, sessions for the fall semester are scheduled beginning the week after Labor Day (September through November). In the spring semester, tours are scheduled mid-January through April. Summer tours are offered early June through late July.
Our webinar sessions allow prospective students to connect with us virtually to learn more about our admission process, and the exciting opportunities Howard University has to offer. These sessions are geared towards rising high school juniors and seniors, as well as undergraduate transfer students. Registration is closed at this time for the 2021-22 admission cycle.
